Our fraud protection policy is designed to protect you.
We take fraud very seriously. We will prosecute to the full extent of the law any persons or entities guilty of committing fraudulent activity through our web site.
Because online shopping is not a face-to-face experience, we have implemented procedures to protect you. Please make yourself aware of these procedures before placing your order.
Is my order processed instantly and automatically?
Your order is not processed at the time it's placed. Instead, we check every order manually. This provides you with additional protection and allows us to identify suspicious orders before they are processed. We reserve the right to refuse to process an order, to cancel any order or to refuse to ship to certain addresses if we suspect fraudulent activity.
Do you verify the information I provide?
We verify your name, address and telephone number by searching online directories. If we are unable to verify the information you provide us, and if we are unable to reach you to provide further evidence, we will not process your order.
For example, if you use a free web-based email address instead of an ISP-based address, or if your order is unusual in some way, or if the order quantity is unusual, or if your shipping address is different to your billing address, we will call you to confirm. We will make every effort to reach you, first by telephone and then by email.
What if my billing and shipping addresses are different?
If your shipping address is different from your billing address, we recommend you notify your card issuer and ask them to place this information on file. Your card issuer will be happy to help you in this regard. Just let them know that you are placing orders via the Internet and would like your shipping address on record.
Do you report fraudulent activity?
We report all instances of fraudulent, or suspected fraudulent activity to the appropriate authorities. We can determine the identity of individuals committing, or attempting to commit fraud through information provided to us by their ISP. We also maintain a database of persons who, or entities that commit, or attempt to commit fraud through our web site, and we share this database with others.
Do you really have to call me?
