Shipping - Canada

How do you ship to Canada?

All items are shipped direct from AKEDA in Vancouver, Canada. All items are sent by Canada Post. We cannot ship to a PO Box Number. We do not currently offer any express shipping method.

How long before I receive my order?

Orders received by noon EST Monday through Friday are shipped the same day. Orders placed between noon Friday and noon the following Monday won't be shipped until Monday. Canada Post quotes 5-10 business days.

Will I have to pay import duties?

Since your order is shipped from within Canada there are no import duties.

How do I find out my shipping and handling costs?

First fill out your order, then click on "View Order". You are not making any commitment. Your flat rate shipping and handling costs will be automatically displayed on the "View Order" page, depending on variables such as destination and weight.

What are your shipping and handling rates?

Here are some examples:

      Small packages up to 2.25 kilos - US$12

      Small packages 2.26-4.50 kilos - US$14

      DC16 + Kit - 16 kilos - US$23

      BC24 + Kit - 20 kilos - US$27

Shipping rates are constantly under review, so our shipping rates may change accordingly without notice.

Are there any additional charges?

You are responsible for all Federal and Provincial taxes. You are also responsible for credit card currency exchange fees. You do not pay import duties or brokerage fees (see above). Note, your credit card company may charge you a fee for out-of-province or out-of-country transactions.
