This exclusive offering from the Jig Store has corner dovetails that highlight the use of two contrasting select hardwoods, with a hand-rubbed beeswax/citrus oil finish. It is an original design from Michael Heffernan of MDH Woodworking.

The storage case holds the complete 64-piece accessory kit, with a place for everything. The case has slots for extra bits and guide bushings, as well as two additional compartments for future guide fingers and miscellaneous new items.

The storage case lid is separate from its base. It can be used as a temporary storage bin for the guide fingers that you are using to make your joint, or it can be turned upside down and stored underneath the open case. However you choose to use the case, all the AKEDA jig components will be organized and at your fingertips as you work.

If you appreciate good design and excellent craftsmanship, this storage case is a must. You will never rummage through a drawer or plastic bin, in search of the right pin guide, bushing, or bit. This beautiful case gives you all the organization you need to make your own dovetails and box joints with the AKEDA jig.

This AKEDA precision guide bushing is strictly for 1/2" box joints. Use it with your half-blind pin guides. Mount your first work piece in the rear vertical clamping position and form the first half of your joint. Move the half-blind pin guides over 1/2" to form the second half of your joint.

This Standard guide bushing will likely produce a perfect fit for you every time. However, if your box joints are loosely fitting use the .582 oversize guide bushing (AKEDA P/N 3531). If your box joints are tightly fitting use the .574 undersize guide bushing (AKEDA P/N 3532).

This AKEDA precision guide bushing is strictly for loose 1/2" box joints. 1/2" box joints are formed with your half-blind pin guides. Mount your first work piece in the rear vertical clamping position and form the first half of your joint. Move the half-blind pin guides over 1/2" to form the second half of your joint.

You would normally use the Standard .578 guide bushing (AKEDA P/N 3530) for 1/2" box joints. This oversize guide bushing is only used when they are too loose. If your joints are too tight use the .574 undersize guide bushing (AKEDA P/N 3532).

AKEDAs Index Strip Adjuster is designed to allow you to shift the index strip in your guide rail so you can center your guide fingers on any width work piece. It means you are no longer limited to stock widths in 1/8" increments!

The adjuster does not require any modification to recent model jigs. Earlier model jigs require a simple modification that wont take more than 10 minutes.
